From Scholarship to Success: The Inspiring Journey of Ashar Nadeem

Ashar graduated in 2022 from Forman Christian College (FCC) with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Accounting & Finance. Coming from a modest background — with a father working as a driver, a mother managing the household, and three siblings to support — higher education seemed like a distant dream.

When Ashar joined FCC, he received financial aid and work-study opportunities at FCC. Yet, even after these contributions, a significant portion of his tuition fee remained unpaid. The financial pressure became so intense that he was on the verge of freezing his semester.

That was the turning point.

Through a friend, Ashar learned about Rapid Charity. He applied and was awarded a 50% scholarship on his total tuition fee. RAPID’s timely intervention bridged the critical gap his family could not fill. This support allowed him to stay enrolled, concentrate fully on his studies, and graduate without the constant anxiety of unpaid fees.

Today, Ashar is working as a Customer Success Executive at Programmers Force, a well-known technology company. Over the past three years, he has established himself professionally and has been able to fully support his siblings’ education. They have now graduated and are employed — a remarkable transformation for the entire family.

Even more inspiring, Ashar and his siblings are now committed to giving back to the community by helping other deserving students gain access to quality education.
